SunBird Garden Club – April 2015

Garden Club has been busy beautifying SunBird

A previous Garden Club project on the corner of Waterview and Championship. The trees have grown in and now provide lovely shade for sitting and viewing the fountain. This year the Garden Club trimmed the trees, repainted the low wall and added solar lights. Each year the Garden Club has a lot of replanting; the Arizona weather that we love also plays havoc with some of our gentle plants.

You’ve probably noticed that the club has been extremely productive during November and December depleting our bank account while beautifying SunBird. The bowls and new landscaping on the east side of the Clubhouse look spectacular. I love the way Gudie designed the dry creek beds. The entrance is so lovely now. Thanks to Mary’s group…
