I know that you have all been waiting for the Spanish class to start! Well, it’s almost here. Wouldn’t it be fun to be able to chat with the server while eating in a Mexican restaurant? Or, to be able to say, “Oh, es muy caro!” (Oh, it is very expensive)! If the answer to either of the above is yes, then join the Conversational Spanish class being offered at SunBird. As one of the instructor Jeanne Capeloto’s students exclaimed, “It’s painless.” Besides, no tests, no grades, just fun!
The beginning class will be offered on Monday afternoon from 1:00-3:00 p.m. beginning Monday, November 9 in the Hopi Room (we waited for you snowbirds). A textbook is required. The fee for each six-week session is only $40. We always enjoy a Spanish class outing, lunch or whatever. Members of the class get together and go out for a Mexican meal (or Chinese if they prefer – just kidding)! We laugh a lot and have a great time. It’s cheaper than therapy.
A sign-up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board in the Puzzle Room. The class is open to anyone, not just SunBird residents – bring a friend.
