17th annual Community Day
Wednesday, November 4 from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. in the Ballroom
We have many vendors lined up for this event. There will be gifts to raffle and a lunch special on the patio. Mr. B & The Blonde will provide music on the patio. Walgreens will be here to give flu shots. Many clubs and classes will be on hand if you have any questions about membership or participation.
That’s Entertainment
Thursday, November 5 at 7:00 p.m.
A variety show including dancing, singing and comedy. East Valley’s Dancin’ Dixie Chic, Dixie Roberts and her dance partner, Bob Mummelthei, will keep you entertained. Tickets are $10 per person and are on sale at the HOA office.

Bring your dancing shoes and your singing voices and enjoy a fun-filled evening with Jamal.

Welcome Back Potluck
Sunday, November 8 on the SunBird patio from 4:00–6:00 p.m.
Bring a dish to pass. Activities will furnish plastic utensils, plates, napkins, coffee and lemonade. Bring your own alcoholic drinks. We will eat at 5:00 p.m.
Farmers Market
Monday, November 9 from 10:00 a.m-2:00 p.m. in the Waterview parking lot.
There will be a variety of vendors, fresh produce, fresh breads, olive oils, cakes, pies, cookies, dried fruit, knife sharpening, jams, jellies, honey, butters and Anna’s precooked meals.
Veterans Day Program
Wednesday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m.
Join us in the SunBird Ballroom for our annual Veterans Day program. Let’s all give thanks for our many veterans and present military families for the great service and sacrifice for our freedom today.
Community Garage Sale
Saturday, November 14 from 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Be a part of the SunBird Community Garage Sale. This will work just like any garage sale and will be open to the general public. If you would like to participate, call or come to the HOA office at 480-802-4901 by Friday, November 6. Maps to the homes involved will be available in the lobby on Thursday, November 12.
Free Dance
Saturday, November 14 from 7:00–10:00 p.m. in the SunBird Ballroom
Music will be provided by DJ Jamal. Sponsored by Al, Joan, Margaret and Wanda.
There will be free appetizers and a full cash bar. SunBird residents and guests are all welcome! Come out and join the fun.
Senior Fitness Class
Tuesday and Saturday – 11:00 a.m.–noon (Tuesday); 10:00–11:00 a.m. (Saturday) in the Navajo Room
The class will help you gain better balance and strength, increase bone density, develop better muscle tone, lose or gain weight, gain energy and increased positive mood.
The first class is free, the cost after that would be $4 each class. This class is for men and women.

Zumba
Wednesdays from 11:30a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Navajo Room; Fridays from 9:00–10:00 a.m. in the Ballroom
Zumba instructor Mary (Cat) Sullivan will offer classes Wednesdays in the Navajo Room and Fridays in the Ballroom. There is a charge of $3 per class.
Everyone is welcome.
Mazatzal Casino
Tuesday, November 17 – free
Receive $10 in Maz cash and an $8 meal voucher after you have earned 50 base points. Bus leaves 8:00 a.m. and will depart the casino at 3:00 p.m.

Join us for donuts and coffee, compliments of Dino Goegan from Edward Jones. Bring your questions and get some answers and also we’ll update you on summer projects that were completed. Everyone welcome!

Featuring songs, comedy, square dancing and Bluegrass band. There will be a full cash bar available. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.

Tickets on sale at the HOA office for $10 each. There will be a full cash bar and if you like bring appetizers for your table.

Free 50th Anniversary Dance

Let’s all come and help Russ and Jeanne Bower and LaVern and Hughene Schaffer celebrate their 50th wedding anniversaries. Music will be provided by the Come Back Buddy Band. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. There will be a full cash bar available.
