Rotary Meetings Include Noted Speakers

Starting in January, Rotary Club of Sun Lakes (RCSL) changed the times of its meetings. The group now meets every Tuesday at 4 p.m. (4 p.m. social time, 4:30 p.m. light dinner, and 5 to 6 p.m. program), except for the third Tuesday of the month when the club meets at 6:30 a.m. for breakfast, with the program from 7 to 8 a.m., followed by the club’s board meeting. There is no meeting on the fifth Tuesday of the month. Meetings are held at Cottonwood’s Saguaro Room, 25630 S. Brentwood Drive in Sun Lakes.

The key to an RCSL meeting is its program. The members line up interesting and informative speakers at each meeting. At its last meeting in December, the group was honored to have City of Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke provide a “What’s happening in Chandler” update. A quote from the meeting: “It’s the American dream to be hired in Chandler—a top destination for families and young professionals.”
