Line dancing with Judee

The people who found a way to call me to register for the Monday classes restarting January 4 in the SunBird Ballroom are to be commended and applauded. I apologize for leaving out my phone number. It was not on purpose and made things very interesting. The dancers who did call were very persistent and I appreciate their efforts. I also learned there are many ways to find a phone number if you really want to.

Thank you, Robson Paper People (“RPP”), for being so kind to the man who got my number from you and being nice to me, even though I created extra work for you.

Thank you RPP for the newspapers in Sun Lakes and SunBird as one lady went to last month’s paper and there was my number. I appreciate being able to advertise my classes for the past 16 plus years in the two papers.

Thank you RPP for publishing the Source Books. Directories are almost a thing of the past, but not in Sun Lakes and SunBird. I use mine all the time. It’s actually easier for me to use printed materials than going to the computer to find information.

It was interesting when I did go to my computer and Googled Line Dancing with Judee. There before me were Sun Lakes Splash articles archived. Several lines down right there on the Google page was the start of one article with my phone number right there without going into that link. What was even more amazing was scrolling down and seeing two images of pictures taken at two of our dances.

Yes, we did restart on Monday, January 4 in the SunBird Ballroom at noon with the Ultra Basic Class for new and returning dancers. The cost for the time you dance is $2 with correct change, speeding up check-in. Dancers arrive around 11:45 a.m. for check-in so we don’t lose any dancing time.

Are you too late to join us? Not at all. Just call me, Judee Curtis, year round SunBird resident, at 480-802-0201 after 10:00 a.m. during the week before you come on Monday. Hopefully you have read the December article as the contents of that article were very important. They were intended to make it easier for you to know what to expect in my classes i.e. you will actually learn what you are doing with your feet and learning dances. You will be exercising your body but mostly your mind while meeting some of the nicest people in our area. We have fun while learning and dancing which gives us a chance to escape this crazy world for just a little while. God bless line dancing!

My new motto is, “If they really want to come, they will find a way!” Happy New Year!
