Get to know your neighbors – host a block party

Block parties are a great easy way to get to know your neighbors and the people living around you. SunBird is highly encouraging these events. Many neighborhood block parties are held in SunBird, normally in the month of March. Is yours? We are encouraging neighbors to organize these fun activities. It can be as simple as a potluck outdoors on a driveway or patio. It could be a barbeque of bringing your meat and food to share at designated neighbor’s house. Having food and cool beverages is always a good excuse to get together and have a good time. If anyone would like to schedule a block party to be held at the clubhouse ballroom or patio area, please contact Activities Director Wendy Weber. Take advantage of the great weather and get to know your neighbors with food and fun!
