As a Board Member of the Arizona Heroes Memorial, I also work at The Cottage of Immaculate Heart. The Cottage is a unique thrift shop in Oro Valley—a definite “one–of–a–kind” experience. So, what does this fact have to do with the Memorial? I often encounter patrons who visit The Cottage and quickly return in a day or so to ask where a certain item is that they saw on their last shopping visit. My response is often, “It’s gone … it’s been sold.” How often have you let an opportunity slip by? Here’s a gentle reminder to claim your Forever Brick at the Arizona Heroes Memorial.
Bricks still remain for the Memorial’s Legacy Garden. We’d love for you to claim a brick to commemorate your hero. Each 8” square allows four lines of text to create a legacy for someone you know and love who served, or currently serves, in the military, as a first responder, or within the healthcare professions—no matter where in the world they reside. The Arizona Heroes Memorial will soon be a destination spot filled with educational, music, and civic activities, hosting visitors from far and wide. The Legacy Garden focuses on individual hero stories to emphasize their sacrifice and dedication that helped create our great nation. Once these bricks are sold to the garden’s capacity, they’re gone. Don’t let this opportunity slip away. Let us showcase your hero!
