The Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse and the American Red Cross sponsored a blood drive in Sun Lakes on June 3. The drive was supported by 42 donors from Sun Lakes and the surrounding communities. Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse Commander Craig Lloyd reported that the drive produced 38 units of precious whole blood in this time of great need. To date, the Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse has conducted 10 blood drives in Sun Lakes producing 360 units of blood. The next two blood drives in Sun Lakes are slated for Sept. 30 and Dec. 2.
