Speakers for July:

Adrian Fontes, Candidate for AZ Secretary of State

Mr. Fontes, the former Maricopa County Recorder, will discuss his candidacy for AZ Secretary of State in the 2022 election. As the former County Recorder, Mr. Fontes ran the 2020 election for Maricopa County successfully and brings his expertise to this state office.

Julie Gunnigle, Candidate for Maricopa County Attorney

Ms. Gunnigle was the 2020 Democratic candidate for this office, losing to the late Allister Adel by 1.5% points. She is running to win this seat and end corruption, backlogs, and ineffectiveness in this office.

Jennifer Pawlik, LD 17 AZ House Representative

Rep. Pawlik will update us on the 2022 Legislature and the state budget. As a teacher, she will provide insight to the status of education in our state and why she is running for re-election as an LD 13 House Representative.

Cindy Hans and Michael Morris, Candidates for the Democratic nomination, AZ LD 13 Senate

Ms. Hans and Mr. Morris are in a contested primary for Democratic nomination for the LD 13 AZ Senate Seat.

Also in attendance will be Chandler City Council, Chandler Unified School District School Board, and U.S. House CD 5 candidates to address those races in 2022.
