Roger Rempert and his family wish to thank everyone at SunBird for their kindness in the loss of Sandra who passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014, in Illinois, after her long battle against cancer. The family held a private Celebration of Life on November 8 at Fox River near their Illinois home. Condolences may be mailed to Roger and family at 2628 Knob Hill Road, Johnsburg, IL 60051.

Thank you, SunBird, for your thoughts, prayers, cards and encouraging words on behalf of our two sons who underwent open heart surgery in September and October 2014. They’re both doing well; the youngest being back to full-time work in Nebraska; his brother in Illinois who had a more serious surgery, is home now, while our oldest son in Illinois is his caregiver 24/7 until the doctors say otherwise. He’s improving daily and we’re in touch with them weekly.
We are so blessed living in our caring community and appreciate all your friendship.

Norman J. Anderson passed away on September 4 after an 11-year Alzheimer‘s illness.
He was active in bowling, tennis and golf in SunBird. We moved here from Minnesota in 1974 as snowbirds and full-time in 2003.
