A great day for a SunBird round robin pickleball tournament!
On Thursday, March 10, SunBird pickleball members participated in a round robin team tournament. A big thank you to Pete Prucha, Gear Box rackets and pickleball members who organized our tournament and gave out head and wrist bands to all the players as they came on the courts to check in.
Each team played five games in their division. The division winners, Jeff and Patrick, yellow division, Byron and Mike, blue division, then played the best of three. Congratulations to Byron and Mike who won the decisive third game.
A barbeque followed with burgers and all the fixings purchased from the Horizon Room and great sides and desserts from all the members. Fun day!
