SunBird’s Golf Club’s giant community auction provides necessary funds for the golf course to continue upgrading and maintaining the ponds and landscaping that creates the first impression of anyone entering SunBird from Riggs Road.
Marsha and John Brockish, whom you can call at 480-757-0742, will once again be collecting goods or services to be auctioned. Donations may include tickets to a concert or a sporting event, a stay in your cottage or home, repair services, or baked goods. Maybe you have a high-quality, like-new item, such as a power tool that you only needed for one job, or a driver that won’t hit straight. Perhaps, you have a skill, such as plumbing, singing, or gardening that you would like to share, or maybe you’d like to host a special dinner.
A new feature this year will be a booze raffle, consisting of wines and specialty beverages donated by residents. Marsha and John will accept that special bottle which you know you will never open.
Your contributions are essential. Donate, participate, appreciate! Bidding cards will be available at 1:30 p.m., and the bidding begins at 2 p.m. sharp on the patio.
