Unity: Take Time Out

Unity Church of Sun Lakes is a New Thought spiritual community dedicated to living the truths taught by Jesus Christ as well as other spiritual masters. We believe in Peace, Love, and Oneness with God and all our other fellow humans around the world. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:30 at Sun Lakes Country Club in the Arts and Crafts Room. Rev. Jeanne MacLaughlin is our minister. All are welcome.

Sometimes we need to slow down and take stock of our lives, where we are now and where we are going. Life is change, and if you are satisfied with the status quo, you missed the opportunity to “change up,” for the Divine is always calling us to be more of what we really are, children of the Divine and spiritual beings in creative concert with God. In taking stock, we identify what our true values are, and then realistically see how much time and energy we exert toward supporting these values. If love, family, and community are at the top of the list of values, then time and effort should reflect that fact. Love yourself by choosing a healthy diet and regular exercise; be in touch with your family members with letters, phone calls, and email; be active in service to your community. These are only examples—you know the truth. Let us bless ourselves by being in integrity with the truth. Slow down, reflect, and be present to this amazing life we have right now.
