Unity: In transition

Unity Church of Sun Lakes is a spiritual community seeking a peaceful, loving and healthful way to live through affirmative prayer, meditation, healthful life style, and activities that promote education, friendship, fun and service. We are presently looking for a Unity or other New Thought minister to replace our Rev. Debbi Brown Adams who will be moving out of state in June. If you are interested in this position or know someone else who might be interested, please call Barbara Kelly at 480-209-5282.

Our Sunday celebration is at 9:30 a.m. in the Arts and Crafts room at Sun Lakes Country Club which is located a long block south of Riggs Rd. on Sun Lakes Blvd. in the furthest building south in the club. Rev. Debbi Brown Adams gives us our lesson and Francine Alexander is our talented music and choir director. We welcome all visitors and hope you will stay for coffee and fellowship after the service.

It seems as though we are always on our way to someplace else. When Armand and Angelina were visiting us last February, Armand reminded us that “Everything all works out in the end and if it hasn’t worked out yet, it’s not the end.” This is the time of year when many Sun Lakers are packing their suitcases and making plans to visit cooler climes over the summer. Mostly we are filled with joyful anticipation but there might be times when what we planned doesn’t work out the way we thought it would and we find ourselves in an ‘in between’ place. If we worry or are anxious it is time to come back to center and affirm, “I have all that I need and wherever I am, God Is.” Know you are being Divinely guided to right decisions concerning the unexpected change. Now is the time to surrender to your highest good and hold to your faith. Journey on in Love and Grace.

Sunday Celebration: 9:30 a.m. and located in the Arts and Crafts room of Sun Lakes Country Club.

Reiki Circle: This group meets every Tuesday morning at 9:30 at the Cottonwood clubhouse in room A-2. For questions call Lois Valleau at 480 883-6699.
