Feb. 24 will be the date of our exciting golf tournament sponsored by the SunBird Bandits golf group. If you haven’t already signed up for our annual event, fill out your entry form for the unique Triple Play Tournament. Entry forms can be obtained from the Pro Shop or the hallway area outside the Pro Shop. Your $70 per two-person team entry begins with donuts and coffee at 7 a.m. on the patio.
The procedure for check-in: 1) Tables in walkway by ballroom will be for team check-in, scorecard distribution, and per-person purchase of $10 Game Pack (3 mulligans/1 string/KP prize fund); 2) Get coffee, if needed; 3) Get donuts from tables at entrance of patio. For the safety and health of everyone, please observe social distancing and wear masks while in these areas! For health concerns and to avoid congregating, please leave the patio area at this point. The tournament will be shotgun start at 8 a.m., barring a frost delay. Due to COVID concerns, we will not stage. Please proceed to your starting hole.
At the end of your round, please deposit your scorecard in the locked box marked “SunBird Bandits” located on the shelf in the hallway entering into the Pro Shop. Please make sure scorecards are checked for accuracy. As we are not having food afterward, scores and prize awards (chits) will be posted on the board outside of the Pro Shop on the next day.
Deadline for entry submission for the tournament is Friday, Feb. 19.
Our fun, annual tournament is designed to raise money for our golf course! In 2019, we were able to raise more than $1,500. We all know this has been a difficult year for everyone—with your help, we can continue to raise money to support and strengthen our SunBird Golf Course.
