As a team the Iowans pulled it off with a scrumptious supper. Special thanks to Shirley Clark for fixing the pork and her team of helpers who shopped, set up and served; to Betty Nobiling who lettered the names tags; to Dave and Neva Beech, Joanne and Gary Astor and Donald Nobiling who made sure the ball stayed on the court and there were no hitches or foul ups. If we were in charge of the Hawkeyes or the Cyclones, Iowa would surely have won the NCAA basketball trophy. Appreciation to the SunBird staff, especially Wanda. Everyone had a fun time.
