The next Tennis Club meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. in the Lakeview room in the SunBird Clubhouse. Remember, everyone that wants to participate, bring an appetizer to share at the meeting. Our new tennis board is trying out this new idea and hopes to continue it at future meetings. It’s a great way to socialize and entice more members to attend.
After 16 weeks of great tennis and hard work, the Sunchix, our SunBird ladies’ traveling team, find themselves tied for second place in the Valley of the Sun League 3.5 Flight #1 division. We have five more weeks to play. Some hard matches are coming up with the Serve “M’ Ups who are in first place, the Racquettes who are tied with us in second place and the Margaritas who are in third place. Go Sunchix; keep up the good work.
