Almost every year SunBird performs routine road maintenance work on various sections of roads. The road work does cause some inconveniences but is very important to preserve and prolong the life of the asphalt. Your patience and understanding is much appreciated during this work.
SunBird Unit Three (Augusta west of Championship through Pebble Beach to almost La Costa) and Unit Five (Oakmont Drive south from Waterview Drive south to Doral Drive) will have the existing asphalt road removed to the ground and re-installed with new fresh asphalt. This project is expected to begin Monday, May 23 through Friday, May 27, taking about five business days, weather permitting and no surprises. Vehicle access will be limited through the week with equipment and repaving. Once repaved, the new roadway will need 24 hours to cure with no road traffic. More specific details will be forth coming to those affected.
May 26, May 27 and June 1 – Units Six, 11, 12 and 15 asphalt rack filling minimal driving restrictions.
June 14, 15 and 16 – Remove and replacement of several large asphalt cracks on Palm Beach and Lake Forest Court cul de sac in Unit 11, minimal temporary driving restrictions.
June 20 and 22 – Units 11, 12 and 15. No road traffic for 24 hours. More specific details will be forth coming to those affected.
June 28 and 29 – Unit Six streets slurry seal road work. No road traffic for 24 hours. More specific details will be forth coming to those affected.
