SunBird Lions Club held a four-person scramble on Dec. 16 to benefit Childhood Cancer. Coffee and donuts were provided at check-in, and a lunch with prizes immediately followed golf. There were 11 men’s teams, 11 couples teams, and two women’s teams.
The tournament was a success, thanks to the corporations and individuals who sponsored the holes and, of course, the players as well. Over $3,000 will be donated to Childhood Cancer.
