Happy New Year! Best wishes for a healthy, happy, safe, and prosperous 2022.
With the annual rush of Christmas shopping, parties, etc., behind us now, we can concentrate on plans for the upcoming events of the Irish Club for the spring. At this writing, it was undecided where or when our traditional Laughlin trip will be held. It’s possible that there will be a change of venue. Stay tuned.
Our yearly Christmas party is always a great time. It’s a special way to welcome the holiday season. It really puts us in the spirit of Christmas. The Irish Club collected new, unwrapped toys for Hartford School students, food for St. Vincent de Paul Society, and white socks for the homeless. As always, our members were very generous with donations to our Christmas charities. Thanks to everyone!
The first meeting of 2022 will be held on Jan. 6 at 4 p.m. in the ballroom for social hour and 5 p.m. for the business meeting. Remember to sign up for the meeting, and please remove your name if you have previously signed up and are later unable to attend.
