The March meeting of our club was a great success. After the business meeting we viewed a very interesting film of a Zeppelin flight over the Boden See. The scenery was truly magnificent.
We are pleased to announce the election of our new officers for the 2015-2016 season. Dolores Kline and Larry Schoenborn will be our new Co-presidents; Barbara Valentine will be Vice-President; Frank Nechvatal will be Secretary and Toni Greisiger will serve as Treasurer. Thank you to all our new officers. We wish you well and look forward to the new season. Thanks also to Don McMullen who chaired the nominating committee.
The last meeting of this season will be held on April 28. We will hold a pot-luck supper on the Patio at 5:00 p.m. I realize this is the May newsletter but am taking the chance that the paper will be delivered before April 28. Don’t want anyone to miss this event.
Our new season will start September 22. The place and time will be announced at a later date. Please put this meeting on your calendar as that is when we will begin to plan our Oktoberfest celebration.
Finally, if you are cleaning out your cupboards please keep in mind that we continue to collect donations for local food pantries.
