Sun Lakes Dance Party meets monthly at Oakwood from November to March on a Wednesday evening. Group dance lessons begin at 6:30 p.m. with open dance from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Dress is casual dress. Dance Party is open to all in the Sun Lakes Community and others; guests and newcomers are welcome.
Mark the dates: November 11, December 9, January 20, February 17 and March 16. This is the largest and nicest dance floor in the area. There are door prizes, a cash bar and music by Thaddeus Rose. Tickets are $27.50 per person for the season if paid by July 1; after July 1, $35 per person or $8 per person at the door.
