You can play all five games or just one, play one card or as many as you’d like, the choice is yours! Friday Fun Bingo is for SunBird members and authorized guests only. Please be sure to bring your SunBird ID for entry. If you do not have an ID, please stop by the HOA office to get one. Due to the popularity of this fun event and in order to accommodate SunBird members, the number of guests SunBird members may bring is limited to two guests per household. SunBird members, along with their guests, must all be together when entering the ballroom. Additionally, the SunBird Maintenance Team has set up the ballroom for this event. Please do not take it upon yourself to set up any additional tables and chairs. Have fun, and good luck!

Valentine’s Day Dance featuring Uncorked The Band

For the first time on the SunBird stage, Uncorked The Band! Uncorked combines a multi-faceted female vocalist with a full arsenal of collaborating musicians/singers; a full six-piece band with saxophone and keyboards. Uncorked provides a diverse selection of high-energy dance classics from across the decades, peppered with offerings of top 40, rock, R&B, country, and even music with a Latin flair—something for everyone! With their fun, high energy, and familiar songs, you’ll have no choice but to sing along and get up and dance! Full cash bar, pre-packaged snacks only. TAD Management presents Mark Cordes – The Spouse Whisperer

Mark Cordes is an inventive comedian and humorist. He has been hailed by critics as a “One Man Laugh Factory.” From his humble start at an open mic, he steadily worked his way up the comedy ladder. “The Spouse Whisperer” takes the audience through a hilarious insight into relationships from first date to exploring all the ups and downs of marriage. Tickets are $20 per person and are available at the HOA office. Full cash bar, pre-packaged snacks only.
Annual Basha High School Band Concert

Our local Basha High School Music Department will be presenting their annual concert and jazz band music in the ballroom on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m. Sunbird Lion’s Club has been sponsoring this popular event for many years. All money donated is given to the Basha High School music program for the purchase of equipment, instruments, etc. We hope to see you there!

Join us in the Horizon Room as local artist Kaui Wilson helps to create a masterful painting on canvas while sipping, laughing, and socializing. She will provide step-by-step instruction to those who need very specific direction and take you through your masterpiece from start to finish in a series of small and simple (but very detailed) steps. This will be a fun and entertaining art class. No experience necessary! All art supplies and instruction provided, and we’ll include one glass of wine! TAD Management presents Ridin’ the Storm Out – Tribute to REO Speedwagon

Back in the late ‘90s the guitarist and founding member of Ridin’ the Storm Out, Rick Hunter, had the honor of playing and performing with REO’s founding member Gary Richrath for almost three years. Their chemistry was evident from their first chords played together. Moving forward to 2017, he decided to form an REO Speedwagon Tribute in search of players who loved REO’s music. After being in many successful tribute bands since 2002, he embarked on celebrating Gary Richrath’s contribution to music history by forming this band’s library of hit songs in a tribute for the fans, knowing the signature vocal harmonies and musical style were key ingredients to reproduce REO’s sound, the quest was a challenge, but achieved after joining forces with two unbelievably young, multi-talented musicians and two other seasoned players who brought all the pieces together to form Ridin’ the Storm Out – Tribute to REO Speedwagon. The name comes from the band’s first hit in the mid ‘70s—REO’s signature song that ends their shows. Ridin’ the Storm Out song list has a solid two-hour show they can perform with all the true REO live show hits the real band still plays at their shows. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 31, in the Apache Room from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. After Jan. 31, tickets will be available at the HOA office.

Far Out Fest

Peace, love, good vibes, and great friends—we’re having a party! Be sure to join us for SunBird’s annual spring outdoor concert, Far Out Fest, to be held on Saturday, April 6. This free community event will feature groovy live music by Uncorked The Band, beer gardens, local food trucks, 50/50 raffles, flower power, and lots of fun! You don’t want to miss this event! The Far Out Fest is open to SunBird residents and guests only. SunBird residents will be required to show their SunBird ID to obtain a wristband for entry for themselves as well as their guest(s), $10 per guest. Stay tuned for further details. TAD Management presents Blonde Ambition – The Madonna Tribute

Blonde Ambition came together in 2018 when four friends, all seasoned musicians, embarked on a project to create the ultimate tribute to the #1 selling female artist of all time. Madonna is the only female artist to have sold over 250 million units and has recently surpassed the 300 million mark, putting her in the company of artists like The Beatles and Elvis Presley, and her songs are universally loved by fans of all ages. Blonde Ambition takes you on a journey through Madonna’s illustrious career from the early ‘80s into the ‘90s and beyond, perfectly capturing the look, sound, and distinctive style of the Queen of Pop in a fun, energetic, and highly entertaining show. They cover all your favorite Madonna dance hits, including “Like A Virgin,” “Holiday,” “Into the Groove,” “Papa Don’t Preach,” and “Vogue,” just to name a few. Blonde Ambition is wowing audiences everywhere they go, from clubs, casinos, to theaters and larger venues.
