Welcome to the New Year.
Have you made resolutions? Is one of them to do things you want to do rather than things you have to do? Is one of those “want to do” to be more creative, be challenged, just have fun? Wel,l the Sew-N-Sews is a good fit for you.
Our members are creative, are challenged by our interesting and varied guest speakers, and we sure do have fun!
Check us out on Wednesday, January 10, and see what we’re all about. I can almost guarantee your creative “genes” will be excited and challenged. We’re all about “stretching” our creativity and challenging ourselves with the new and interesting classes that are offered each month. See for yourself. They say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Well, I can’t write a thousand words; there is a limit to the length of the articles, but you know what I mean. Come and see and experience it for yourself. You may be surprised and want to be part of this great group.
Our January meeting will feature our “Dolly Dressers,” a group of members that restore and dress dolls. Our January classes include Penny Sturgis, the Bag Lady, teaching one of her bags, an appliqued mini-quilt, a stunning jacket, and we’re working on putting together several other classes that will be offered in January and February.
We meet the second Wednesday of the month, September through May, at 1:00 p.m. in the Navajo Room of Sun Lakes Country Club. If you want more information, contact our president, Phyllis Prysock, at 480-339-0297.
