As the heat of summer moderates, snowbirds and residents alike begin getting excited as we all gather together again and the events and activities heat up. This season our Art Club is looking forward to more classes by renowned artists throughout the valley and of course, our annual Challenge, which this year is Hats! It is always so much fun to see the variety and diversity of art we can create based on what would seem to be such a simple topic! Each year we welcome new members and want to extend our invitation to anyone who would find this club of interest to you. Whether you have had some experience in creating art or have just wanted to have an opportunity to learn and try your hand, you will find this an enjoyable and user friendly environment. Our club meets on Thursday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Hopi Room and is a loosely based and no cost group of people who support one another in a fun and friendly environment. We look forward to meeting you and hope any and all will take the time to stop by and meet us as well as see the works being created. Welcome back and here’s to another fun filled season in our beloved SunBird!
