It is hard to write an article with the coronavirus impacting everyone’s life at this time. Hopefully, all our friends from Canada got home safely and suffered through their quarantine without problems. So far, we have been able to keep the virus out of SunBird. Let’s hope that what we are doing keeps working.
The only planned event is the Memorial Day Tournament, and we will have to wait and see where we stand over the next 30 days. We have implemented tee time for some of the days instead of shotguns. So far, it’s going well.
Over the next month, we will continue to follow the CDC’s and the USGA’s recommendations on social distancing, leaving the flagstick in, removing the rakes, and not using ball washers. Everyone continue to be safe and have a nice summer.
