We are starting to get a good response for donations for the Green Up Project and would like to thank everyone for their donations to a greener golf course.

We have a couple new members that have joined the club. They are Gene Frericks and Dwight Mallery. Gene has been playing in the Men’s Niners events and Dwight is looking forward to settling in and getting out to play. On behalf of the Board and SunBird Golf Club welcome!

Some new email addresses have been added so if you would like to get in touch with the golf course and ask a few question or find out some information please contact us:

The Pro Shop has extended its summer hours and staying open until 5:00 p.m. daily so if you want to get in a late round of golf give us a call. Our Sundowner League on Tuesday night has been doing well averaging 20 players per event. Play starts at 4:30 p.m.; we play nine holes then go upstairs to the Horizon Room for some golf stories and refreshments. If you would like to join us some night give us a call and we can get you set up and ready to play.

August is coming soon and we will be planning our Labor Day Tournament for September 5. Marc and I are discussing the Superintendents Revenge Tournament planned for September 24. He has some interesting ideas for the course that day which I think will make the event Challenging, Different and Fun.

Enjoy the Fourth!
