Joy and Empowerment at Women’s Connection

Kristy DeCleene

Get informed and empowered at the Women’s Connection on Thursday, April 9, at 10 a.m. This enlightening event includes a deluxe continental breakfast of beverages, fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, tortillas, and salsa; gluten-free available upon request. The cost is $25 (tax and gratuity included), cash or check, payable at the door of the Oakwood Country Club Kingston Ballroom located at 24218 S. Oakwood Blvd., Sun Lakes, Ariz.

Our inspirational guest speaker, Pam Hage, is a native of Arizona and currently hails from Peoria, Ariz. Pam was the bookkeeper at a bank in Flagstaff, Ariz., before becoming a counselor for women and families in crises. She married her high school sweetheart and has two children and two granddaughters. In her talk, she will share how she is able to have “Joy in Every Season.” Female representatives from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) will empower us with practical tips on how we can work together to keep our neighborhood safe. The MCSO is proud to serve, protect, and connect with the community.

Our guest soloist is Sandra Martin. From her Wyoming farm saddle to university choral, community, and church choirs, Sandra will share her love of vocalizing the wonders of our world. Pre-program chat and coffee time will offer a variety of music performed by the Keyboard Connection, directed by Jeanette Cline.

The Crystal Card Project greeting cards will be available both before and after the morning program. All cards are $1.
