My mother Colleen Ann Williams moved to SunBird two years ago after moving here from California. She was more than proud to buy her own home. Looking back, it was like this special place was always waiting for her. After recently retiring from Intel, she soaked up long days of golf with my brother and me. She spent most of her time enjoying her two kids and five crazy grandkids. My mother was also working on being more outgoing in the SunBird community. She was invited to play water volleyball and, boy, did she fall in love. She couldn’t stop talking about the great group of people and how much she loved her new tan.
SunBird was a place my family got to enjoy with my mom before her passing. I will never forget how happy she was living here.
