Holiday stamps are available at the SunBird Post Office. International mailings should be done by the first week of December. The SunBird Post Office accepts only cards and letters to be sent out of the USA. International parcels must be accepted and processed at the Ocotillo Post Office or at the downtown Chandler Post Office.
USPS requires a return address on all letters and parcels. The parcel is to be addressed, with return in the upper left and the addressee in the center/right of the largest surface area. All parcels need to be sealed with shipping tape. Do not use string, masking or duct tape. If you need additional services, such as insurance, certified/return receipt, please come to the post office by l:00 p.m.
Check out the savings in postage by using Flat Rate boxes for those heavier items. USPS tracking labels are applied to all parcels. Insurance is available. All outgoing mail from this post office and the blue postal box located in the parking lot is collected at 2:15 p.m.
We cannot accept any alcohol/wine boxes for mailing.
The SunBird Post Office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
