The first Wednesday for 2014, October 1 – Healing with Essential Oils; presenter is Shelley Zaverella. “Come and learn how therapeutic grade essential oils can improve wellness.
A high percentage of prescription medicine is based on naturally occurring compounds from fruits and plants. The biggest advantage is that the oils do not cause side effects or damage to our bodies. Many persons, under their physicians’ advice, have replaced their prescriptions and over the counter medications with essential oils. You can also replace your toxic cleaning products with those made with essential oils. Take charge of your health; learn how to use the oils aromatically, internally and topically to improve your health safely. I was a registered nurse for almost 40 years and saw the damage that medicine can do. It is important for me to show you other ways to heal; and then you can make your health choices with more knowledge. This alone is empowering. There will be a door prize at this presentation. Hope to see you all there!”
The second Friday for 2014, October 10 – Introduction to Healing Qigong; presenter is Paullene Caraher.
This Qigong is about doing certain movements to get the KI or CHI, the energy life force, to move through the body and thereby letting the body heal itself. There are many forms of Qigong. I will be presenting the forms by Jeff Primack of the Supreme Science Qigong Center. I am a certified Level-1 Instructor and will show you how to do the easy movements to help your body have better digestion and circulation.
