Healing with Essential Oils

The next oil sharing will be on May 1, the first Wednesday, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. We will be making a blend for pain using the Lemongrass Recipe. Lemongrass oil has many healing properties.

From Young Living: “Lemongrass essential oil has origins in Southeast Asia, though it is now cultivated in countries around the world. It is distilled from the leaves and woody stalks of the lemongrass plant, and it produces a subtle citrus-herb scent. Lemongrass oil offers a sophisticated and relaxing aroma that can transform your home’s environment into a comforting sanctuary. Lemongrass oil’s relaxing aroma also makes it a great complement to a post-workout massage.”

From Dr. Axe: “Surprisingly, lemongrass essential oil is used as aromatherapy to relieve muscle pain, externally to kill bacteria, ward off insects and reduce body aches, and internally to help your digestive system.”

We use Young Living Oils which, in our opinions, is the best. The company owns most of the fields and herb farms and partners with other growers to get the best available. The company has control of all aspects of the oils which is called Seed to Seal.

We have not used this recipe before. This is Gel in a Jar, so you can rub the gel on your area of pain. It will be $15.00 to make the gel. If you want to come and listen and talk to people, you can come for free. Shelley has been using these oils for over 10 years, and she has many stories and can suggest an oil or blend for your situation. You will have fun hearing the different stories people have using these oils. RSVP so we can have enough products.

The sharing is in the SunBird Golf Resort located at 6250 SunBird Blvd., Chandler, AZ 85249, on the upper floor in the Navajo Room. When you enter the clubhouse, you are on the ground floor.
