SunBird Golf Club’s giant community auction provides necessary funds for the golf course to continue upgrading and maintaining the ponds and landscaping. We need your help to create the glorious green first impressions at the entrance to SunBird.
Marsha and John Brockish (480-759-0742) will once again be collecting goods or services to be auctioned. Donations might include tickets to a concert or sporting event, a stay in your cottage or home, repair services, or baked goods. Maybe you have an older golf cart that is taking up space in your garage. Perhaps you have a skill (plumbing, singing, or gardening) that you would like to share or a special dinner you would like to host.
A new feature this year will be a booze raffle of wines and specialty beverages donated by residents, headed up by Jean Pritchard. Tickets will be available at the Pro Shop. Bottle donations will graciously be accepted there as well.
Your contributions are essential. Donate, participate, appreciate! Bidding cards will be available at 1:30 p.m. The bidding begins at 2 p.m. sharp on the patio.
Be generous. We all know how critical the golf course is to our community.
