To most of us, 1992 seems just a couple years away, but it was 24 years ago. Doris and Norman Littrell then lived in Chandler but were golfing on the nine hole golf course at SunBird when they decided to live here, too.
Then, there was more country than city and no shopping was near. Riggs Road was a narrow two lane path and Cooper was partially a dirt road. Few homes existed in the area. Besides the manufactured homes, there were few others ready in SunBird. Building the house was accomplished quickly and the couple has enjoyed it since. “A great place to live,” proclaims Norm.
