Computer Booters Are New and Improved

Helen Seaton, Publicity Director

Computer Booters are new and improved! The Computer Booters Club is changing—a new time, a new place, and a new format. The changes will take place beginning Feb. 9. The general meetings will be held on the second Wednesday of the month rather than the first Wednesday. The new meeting time will be from 1 to 3 p.m. We will resume with a face-to-face meeting in the Cottonwood Ceramics Room. Members and first-time guests will be eligible for door prizes. The meeting will also be available via Zoom. The February meeting and even-numbered months following, will have a question-and-answer format rather than a speaker. Bring your questions, problems, and suggestions to the meeting, whether you attend in the Ceramics Room or via Zoom. There will be time for socializing at the beginning of the meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Cottonwood Ceramics Room. We hope to see many members there to meet in person again after a long period of Zoom-only meetings. Masks are not required but are recommended.

We will start monthly workshops on the third Wednesday. The February Workshop will be a discussion on Facebook and an introduction to the Booters Facebook Group chaired by Rob Truman, Computer Booters web director.

The popular Lunch ‘n’ Learn will move to the fourth Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Cottonwood Bar & Grill. Join us for lunch and bring your questions and problems. We’ll do our best to help you resolve them.

Don’t forget, your dues are payable by Jan. 31. Hope to see you soon!
