The largest fundraiser for SunBird Golf Course, our Community Auction, takes place at 2:00 p.m., November 16, on the patio. SunBird Golf Club struggles to maintain a lush course with fewer than 200 members financing the upkeep of the fairways, ponds and fountains which are enjoyed by the entire SunBird Golf Resort community.
Could you imagine SunBird without a golf course? Should the HOA take some responsibility on behalf of all our residents to ensure that when we enter the gates on Championship, our first impression is of a rich, vibrant community? Could the HOA Board of Directors and General Manager explore options to ensure this first impression continues and our golf course remains the jewel of SB Golf Resort?
Through this auction and other fundraising endeavors, club members are working very hard to achieve this. But, it takes the support of the entire community to maintain this amenity at the standard we desire.
There are two ways you can help: Donate an item and/or attend the auction. Marsha Brockish (480-759-0742) is accepting donation items which could include tickets to attractions, vacation destinations, exercise equipment, famous baked goods or a private dinner party.
We can’t imagine SunBird without this beautiful green space, a park of our own. Your contributions are essential.
