Cheers Trip Opportunities: On Nov. 15, 15 Cheers members and members of their family joined 28 other travelers and left for a nine-day tour of the Tuscany region of Italy. The tour centered around the culinary aspects of the region, dining at numerous restaurants, most of which were adjuncts to wineries. We stayed at a charming boutique hotel and explored different parts of Tuscany each day. Highlights included a day in Florence and visits to the walled cities of San Gimignano and Volterra. A boat excursion to a restaurant on Maggiore Island was another memorable experience. In summary, Tuscany is beautiful, with rolling hills, small villages, spectacular views, and wonderful food. This trip will be long and fondly remembered.
In other travel news, several members are planning their trip to Branson, Memphis, and Nashville on Oct. 12-20. This is a must for those who enjoy country music. There are also several members who are exploring river cruising on the European rivers.

Monthly Wine Tasting: Once a month a member of our group opens their house for wine tasting. Lorene Roberts leads this monthly social time. Cheers Golf Group: Our golf group continues to grow as we welcomed new member Chloe Hanken. We golf all the courses of Sun Lakes, as well as surrounding public courses. After golf, we stop at the lounge for social time to discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly of the round. As this is a members-only activity, you will need to be a member of our Cheers Social group.
