During Bingo, there are 15 games played with prizes for $20 or more. This is a social and charity event put on by the Chandler SunBird Lions Club. The winners this week were B. Stolper, Jeanne Berte, Marilyn Hespel, James Jerome, Floy Feltmann, Joyce Dougal, Judy L Weisz, Darlene Thompson, Donna Fuller, Patricia Herrboldt, Margaret Wiseman, Theresa Ward, Sandy Schur, Marcia McHugh, Yvonne E Beloney, Rose Brown and Gary Popelka. The jackpot winner was James Jerome, winning $112.
The Sunbird Lions Club hosts a Bingo Night the first and third Friday during the months of November through April. During the Bingo game, they offer coffee and goodies to purchase at a very low price. The last Bingo Night was December 1, 2017, in the ballroom of the SunBird Recreation Center. Fifteen games are played with a variety of strategies. Bingo is open to players 18 years of age or older for both residents and those from outside this community.
Come join us for the next Bingo Night, December 15, 2017. Purchase Bingo sheets during the half hour of 6:00-6:30 p.m. The first game begins at 6:30 p.m. We welcome new players to come join in the fun.
