Eighty Canucks celebrated their return to SunBird for the winter with an Albertsons chicken and potluck dinner on the patio on Nov. 17.
Barb Finkelman coordinated the gathering, and Mike McMillan provided the entertainment with a Canadian Trivia game that tested our knowledge of events of our youth.
Thank you to all those who pitched in to help with set-up, serving, and clean-up. Compliments to Joe and Joe of the HOA for setting up the tables and the sound system. We are so happy to be able to socialize in the desert again.
Plans for the new year include our traditional Pork Loin BBQ on Feb. 2, and our annual Great Canadian Golf Tournament on March 19. Please register for the golf tournament at the BBQ.
