The Bocce Ball Club, SunBird HOA, Board of Directors and SunBird Golf, Inc. have reached an agreement regarding the bocce ball test site at the intersection of Kerby Farms Road and Championship Drive.
The test court has proven very successful with SunBird residents, renters and guests. By making this a permanent site it will add to the amenities that SunBird has to offer to residents and potential new homeowners.
In order for this to occur, SunBird residents must approve a land use change from common area to recreational area for the area currently used as a test court.
The ballot will be mailed in your second half assessment. Please vote and return your ballot by July 1.
The construction of the bocce ball recreation area will be funded by existing monies in the Special Projects Fund and will not be financed by HOA dues or assessments.
