We continue to improve our skills, and residents of Sun Lakes communities are certainly showing up at all the dance venues that are available to them. They are creating their own inner community of “Dancers” with a capital “D.”
And you’re invited to join them in this wonderful activity which strengthens your core muscles, improves your balance, improves your skills in other sports and physical activities, to say nothing of adding some spice to your social life. This is accomplished while holding a good-looking partner in your arms. Don’t be left out!
Basic Social Dance allows you to strut your stuff on small dance floors to any kind of music you may prefer… standards, golden oldies, rock and roll, country, whatever suits your fancy. Mary Lou Kaye, a certified ballroom dance instructor, developed a KISS (Keep It Super Simple) method that will have you dancing to any kind of music you hear within an hour.
