The SunBird German Club ended their season with a Potluck Party on the Patio. We merged with the Italian Club and had a great time. Members brought side dishes and desserts, and the club provided fried and roasted chicken.
A brief discussion was held to announce that, this fall, it will be the German Club’s turn to deliver the SunBird News. A list of carriers and folders was established. We will start delivery with the November issue of the newspaper.
Our next meeting will be on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. in the Lakeview Room. We will start with plans to hold an Oktoberfest in October. Again, the Lions Club would like for the two clubs to collaborate as we did in 2024. Stay tuned for further information.
