New participants are welcome. When new people come more direction is given. It was so easy to follow along. You do not have to be limber or in shape. Slapping or tapping the body is done to get the blood and energy moving. We also do a lot of joint rotations. This practice is based on ancient Asian Qigong principles and is very effective.
Most modern activities are done sitting and the leg muscles, quadriceps and hamstrings become weak. The hips also become weak and the body becomes unbalanced. This exercise works on energizing these areas.
Come a bit early to help set up the room. Bring a mat. There are some mats in the room.
Paullene is available for private classes to help you continue your physical therapy. Many people finish the physical therapy sessions and then do not do the exercises at home. When we get older it is important to continue the exercises; otherwise, the stiffness in the joints and muscles will return. I am not a physical therapist but a healing minister who can assist you on the physical, mental and spiritual levels.
