Before leaving for the summer months, the SunBird Post Office encourages our winter visitors and residents to complete Change of Address cards at least one week before departure. We, in turn, will provide you with a notice to be placed in your mailbox notifying your carrier of your departure date and an approximate return date in the fall.
Also, please notify the SunBird Homeowners Association office of your summer address.
A reminder regarding Vacation Hold cards: Please come to the SunBird Post Office to fill out the card so that we know you will be gone. We will make up your hold box then give the card to your carrier. The card will then be placed in your mailbox. If you place the card in your mailbox, we (the SunBird Post Office) will not know you are gone, and your carrier will begin bringing your mail to us. So, please fill out your Vacation Hold card here at the post office.
Mail pick-up is between 2 and 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
