Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month in the ballroom, beginning with a social hour at 4 p.m., meeting at 5 p.m., followed with a meal. New members are always welcome. Please come join us! Not Irish? No problem! The only requirement is the ability to have a great time. Annual dues are $45.
Judy Phillips organized a luncheon at Mellow Mushroom in Mesa on Feb. 19. It was a great time. The food and drinks were wonderful. Thanks, Judy. Future luncheons will be planned in September, November, and January with locations and times to be determined.
The Irish Club held their Corned Beef Dinner/Dance and Basket Raffle. The baskets were beautiful. Melanie Aikens was the chairperson of the Basket Committee. Her hard work with the community and Irish Club members in getting donations went above and beyond. Thanks to the SunBird volunteers who donated completed baskets, gave of their time, and made monetary donations. The members who assisted in creating and displaying baskets are so appreciated.
