Summer is almost over, snowbirds will be arriving soon, and the Kare Bears will be meeting again. Oct. 16 is our first meeting for the coming year. We will gather in the ballroom at 1 p.m. As always, we will be hosting events not only to provide activities for people in SunBird but for those who live in the surrounding communities. And all the money we generate is donated back to the organizations that offer help and service to the Chandler area.
On the first Saturday of November, December, February, and March, the Kare Bears sponsor a fair from 8 a.m. until noon in the ballroom. We have a White Elephant sale where you can pick up lots of household items for very little, and we invite vendors to come and sell their items. If you are interested in having a table, the cost is only $10, and we have registration forms in the clubhouse. We’ll be selling hot coffee and donuts, so it will be a great time to catch up with all your neighbors. And, of course, we have raffles with great prizes. Don’t miss out on the fun!
