With mail delivery slow and products held up off-shore, Christmas shopping will not be easy this year. So, consider shopping at the Kare Bear Fair on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 8 a.m. to noon, in the SunBird ballroom. There will be about 40 vendors displaying their wares, with a wide variety of choices. Let’s support these small business workers coming into our community by doing our Christmas shopping with them, and at the same time, supporting Kare Bears at their White Elephant table. We will have coffee and rolls available to share with your neighbors in a sit-down area. We are so happy to coordinate this event once again for you. A second fair is scheduled for Dec. 4.
Kare Bears will provide a basket in the HOA drawing at the Community Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Look for our table, as new membership forms will be available along with publicity for our two major fundraisers in 2022. Once again, we will bring our fashion show on the afternoon of Jan. 29, 2022. The previous fashion show was grandly received in 2019! Our Randy Linder Creedence Clearwater concert will be held Feb. 22, 2022, and we are hoping to offer matinee and evening performances.
Membership meetings are always the third Wednesday of the month, at 1 p.m., in the SunBird ballroom. For our November meeting, we encourage members to bring canned food donations for St. Vincent de Paul Food Bank. Our speaker will be Cameron McChesney from Greenhouse Gardens. Come join us!
