The past few months have been filled with celebrations and commemorations. Services honoring our celebrated choir, Purim, Passover and Earth Day were joyous occasions.
A somber service, with participating clergy from five Sun Lakes Churches, commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Day. The speakers were truly inspiring and the message very applicable to our current world events. The community joined together in lighting candles in memory of those who perished.
At Shabbat Services on May 11, we honor mothers, the backbone of our families, and also the holiday of Shavuot. Please join us at 7:30 p.m. for Services, followed by a lovely Oneg where you can meet and socialize with fellow congregants.
The Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation is an active established reform congregation with members of all ages and backgrounds. Shabbat Services are held the second Friday of the month at the Sun Lakes Chapel off Riggs Road and Sun Lakes Boulevard.
Our congregation also sponsors a Men’s Club, Sisterhood and Friends of Israel. You are encouraged to join these active organizations that present speakers, off-site trips, fund raisers and many interesting volunteer opportunities.
