All SunBird residents are invited to come join the American and Canadian fans on the No. 1 tee as they send off their respective golf teams on the third and final day of the annual Conley Cup team competition. On Saturday, March 28th the teams will start play at noon. As soon as they are off, we’ll all move to the eighth hole which is just off Championship inside the front gate.
Wear your American and Canadian clothing and costumes and come put the pressure on the teams as they play the 120 yard Par 3 in front of hundreds of loud, somewhat rude but enthusiastic fans and spectators. This hole is modeled after the infamous 16th Hole at the Phoenix Open held in early February. There will be free hot dogs and a beverage as long as supplies last. It’s rumored there may be a party barge floating in the water hazard next to the hole. Come see and bring your team spirit with you. No charge to participate in the “madness!”
