Tony Contrabrasso to address SunBird’s Desert Navy Club

Tony Contrabasso, a valley resident for over 28 years, delivers his Dynamic Visual Productions at various venues in the valley to high acclaim. His shows are educational and enjoyable, with narrated colorful PowerPoint presentations produced on varied subjects. Program topics range from the history of the Attack on Pearl Harbor to the A-Bomb, Iwo Jima, Okinawa to the Bomb, to the history of the building of the Panama Canal. His presentations also include Earthquakes and Tsunamis, ocean exploration and many other subjects, such as “What Did Columbus Actually Discover?”

Mr. Contrabasso’s presentation to the Desert Navy Club will be “America Fights Back” (from the draft to the surrender of Bataan and Corregidor, including the Battle of Midway).

The Desert Navy Club looks forward to Mr. Contrabasso’s presentation on Friday, March 16, at 1030 hours in the Lakeview Room in SunBird’s clubhouse. The club meets on the third Friday of every month and is open to all Navy, Marine, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine veterans. Please join us.
